STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO (BRAIN) — Honey Stinger has added several new hires and made some internal promotions. The company said it is experiencing rapid sales growth across all categories.
Long-time team member Chris Tamucci has been named the brand’s first director of operations. He will oversee all IT, warehouse, customer service and operations staff. Tamucci has worked for the compnay since 2006.
“The exciting growth that we have seen over the past few years has allowed us to increase the size of our crew and offer new challenges to veteran team members like Chris,” said Honey Stinger co-founder and president Bill Gamber.
Kat Fagan has transitioned from the brand's sales team to become events coordinator, a newly created role within the marketing department. The marketing department has also added graphic designer Kyle Olsen.
Craig Rench joins the sales team from the Steamboat Springs-based brand Big Agnes and will focus on bicycle category sales. The company has also expanded IT and warehouse departments with the addition of former Smartwool staff member Steven Geer and Bill Martorano, respectively.
Honey Stinger is partially owned by Lance Armstrong and recently announced it was in the process of removing Armstrong's image and endorsements from its products.
