BORDENTOWN, N.J. (BRAIN) — U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis visited Princeton Tec's headquarters here last week to commend the lighting company for its commitment to domestic manufacturing and sourcing.
The company manufactures headlamps and handheld lights for the outdoor, bike, tactical, industrial, and SCUBA markets.
"As an American manufacturer, we take pride in delivering top-quality lighting products and meeting the needs of our dealers and customers – that's our main focus," said Dave Cozzone, Princeton Tec's vice president. "By bringing more of our production in-house we are able to enhance our quality control and overall product development, while bolstering the local workforce and economy."
Solis called Princeton Tec "a true American success story." During her visit she designed and assembled her own headlamp using Princeton Tec's Spectrum custom headlamp program.
Solis is currently on tour to support the Obama Administration's new $40 million grant competition "Make it in America" Challenge.
Earlier this month, Princeton Tec was featured in the September issue of Outside Magazine. Titled "Born in the USA," the story focused on Princeton Tec's dedication to U.S. production and category-leading practices.
