NEWPORT, VT (BRAIN)—Louis Garneau will institute a minimum advertised price policy starting with its summer 2013 collection, effective Nov. 1.
The MAP policy will apply to all of Garneau's product categories, including cycling, triathlon and Nordic skiing apparel.
“We believe that certain discounting practices are not only detrimental to the Louis Garneau brand name and image, but furthermore threaten the sustainability of our independent bicycle dealer network,” U.S. sales director David Cathcart said.
