Colorado shop's radio show podcast available
GRAND JUNCTION, CO (BRAIN) Friday March 30 2012 2:20 PM MT—Brown Cycles launched a 30-minute radio show four months ago on a local FM station. Now shop owner Chris Brown is making the shows available as podcasts, downloadable from the store's website (Direct link to the latest show (wma file)).
"The idea was to have one place to showcase all the trails, rides, technology, riders and happenings in the Grand Valley," Brown said. "The idea was to keep it light hearted — reaching new riders and tricky enough to touch the local enthusiasts.
"They get better every time we do them. I think it might take six months to build a real following but we are willing to stick it out," he said.
Diane Lees, co-owner of the Hubbub Custom Bicycles in Ohio, also does a weekly bike radio show that is available as a podcast.
