Rolf Prima Moves Manufacturing Facility

Published July 20, 2011

EUGENE, OR (BRAIN)—Rolf Prima will be moving its manufacturing and office to downtown Eugene, Oregon, about three miles from their current location.

“We had intended to be at our current location for a longer period of time,” said Rolf Prima owner Brian Roddy. “We’ve been on a pretty steep growth curve and we’ve outgrown our current space. The new space is double in size which will accommodate our growth.”

The new facility is a fully renovated former warehouse previously owned by a local garden supply company. After taking the building down to the studs, the owners built a more efficient and versatile building with a strong focus on natural light, solar energy and recycling.

“We started scouting out areas near our current location about a year ago,” Roddy said. “It was important to me that we didn’t move outside of Eugene and still had an easy bike commute to work.”

Rolf Prima will move on July 26 and will be shut down that day, re-opening on July 27.
