New Website Acts as Hub for Charity Rides

Published May 5, 2011

KENT, WA (BRAIN)—Raleigh America this week launched mycyclingevent.com to connect America’s 60 million cyclists with popular charity rides in the U.S. like the MS 150 and Tour de Cure rides.

The new site offers an untapped aspect of community and outreach to heighten awareness and encourage participation at a local level.

On the site riders can search or post new charity rides, receive training trips and tracking assistance with GPS and routing, and find nutrition tips and gear suggestions from industry experts. A community section provides an online hub
for riders to share stories, videos, pictures and other thoughts on community involvement.

Raleigh has initially partnered with four national rides, including the Seattle to Portland, the Palo Alto and Salt Lake City Tour de Cure and the Cleveland MS 150. Riders are encouraged to add any events they are aware of that are not initially posted.
