Argon18 Hires Jeff Hammond

MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—Following the departure of Marc-André Perron, Argon18 has hired Jeff Hammond as director of international sales.

With over 20 years of sales experience, Hammond brings to Argon18 a proven track record of building business within various types of sales channels, especially international distribution networks. Having recently returned from a year working overseas in Russia, Hammond's local and international business development experience has allowed him to garner valuable relationships and learn from the best business practices from around the world, according to a press release.

For the past 10 years Hammond’s focus and passion have been in the international sporting goods business working on both sides of the manufacturer/distributor desk. As director of international sales for a leading hockey equipment manufacturer, he led a network of distribution partners in over 40 countries with great success. Then as director of business development for one of the largest distributors in European sporting goods, he gained valuable experience that will serve Argon18’s distributor network very well. He understands the processes and challenges required to help build on the existing successful business model that the Argon18 team & its partners have developed.

Hammond’s varied professional background including direct sales, major account management, B2B service concept selling, business development, strategic business planning, channel motivation and sales management builds on Argon18’s already strong management team.
