VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Race Face Performance Products is expanding its Canadian aftermarket distribution by appointing two new distribution partners in Canada—Kempter Marketing and Quality Bicycle Products (QBP), while providing dealers the option of buying direct from Race Face.
“Expanding our distribution in Canada with Kempter, one of the most respected and technical distributors in the Canadian cycling industry, and QBP, North America’s premier distributor, will allow us to better service IBDs in Canada,” said Race Face’s president Craig Pollack. “Both companies are excellent at what they do. The real winner is the IBD as we will now provide increased options for the IBD to purchase our products.”
Paul Harris, president of Kempter, is excited about the opportunity to represent Race Face. “The addition of Race Face, a Canadian iconic brand, provides another excellent product to our already strong lineup,” Harris said. “Race Face has market leading product in virtually all MTB categories that they sell product into. From their preeminent carbon crank products such as Next and SIXC to their category leading aluminum products such as Atlas cranks, Race Face is an industry leader. Kempter has technical reps and selling a technical product like Race Face is a perfect fit. And best of all, Race Face is a Canadian brand with a long, rich history of doing business in Canada and supporting the Canadian IBD.”
Tyler Denniston, off road product manager of QBP, is enthusiastic about selling Race Face products into Canada. “We have distributed Race Face products in the USA for 10-plus years and we know there is strong demand for their products,” Denniston said. “We are excited about being able to sell Race Face into Canada and to better service the Canadian IBD with another excellent brand for them to purchase from us. Additionally, with the opening of our Salt Lake City warehouse in 2010, we will be even better equipped to service IBDs in the Prairies and the West Coast.”
“Race Face’s goal is to continue to support the Canadian IBD in the best manner possible,” Pollack said. “By expanding our distribution with Kempter and QBP, and further allowing dealers to order directly from Race Face, this will provide more choice for the IBDs and will allow us to further grow our Canadian business.”
