SUN VALLEY, ID (BRAIN)—Scott USA has partnered with DirtLabs for service of Ransom Equalizer shocks.
DirtLabs is the creation of Mike “Luby” Luebesmier, who boasts a rich suspension background. Luby started at the Shock Treatment Center in Minneapolis where he rebuilt and tuned most makes and models of forks and shocks. Upon moving to Boulder, Luby went to work for Rock Shox and Maverick founder Paul Turner as a technician, product tester, and research and developer.
Now the owner of DirtLabs, Luby enjoys the additional challenge of working on proprietary suspension products like the Ransom Equalizer shock. “Internals say a lot about a product, and the internals of the Equalizer are amazing. Everything is precise.” Also a rider of the Ransom, Luby notes that he really likes the lively ride and progressive feel of the bike’s suspension.
“I’m really excited to be working with Scott. It’s cool product,” Luby said. “There’s a lot of super-technical product out there, and this is at the top.”
Chris Bingham, Scott USA warranty manager said, “I’m stoked to have Mike and the DirtLabs team on board to service the Ransom shocks. Having this additional support will help to better service the customer by allowing us to keep shocks on the shelf for immediate delivery. This supports our primary goal of getting riders back on their bike as quickly as possible.”
