Published October 27, 2008

DENVER, CO (BRAIN)—The 20th edition of the Subaru Denver VeloSwap took place Saturday in more than 100,000 square feet of expo space at the National Western Complex in Denver. Under beautiful sunny skies, the event showed strong attendance in both the vendor and attendee categories.

The number of vendors grew 6 percent this year, the most in its recent history. Consumer attendance grew by 2 percent with online pre-sales very strong.

Crowds were strong right from the opening bell with the masses cycling through the many new vendors including Crocs, TRP Brakes, Ergon, Moots and more.

The Colorado Association of Recycling provided Roving Recyclers to assist vendors and attendees with their recycling needs. They cruised throughout the expo with mobile bins to collect all refuse recyclable including cardboard, paper, bottles and cans.

Also in the Recycle Zone were Ecologic Designs, Accugreen and Alchemy Goods featuring product made from recycled or environmentally friendly materials.
