Anyone recognize that rider? How about the seat?
That's Cadel Evans back in the late '90s, who used to battle it out on the mountain, but is currently trying to pedal his way to victory at this year's Tour de France. He was riding a WTB SST saddle that was discontinued almost 10 years ago.
Looks like the popular saddle will be making a comeback for 2009 with some modern refinements, but will will retain the same contoured nose and comfortable padding.
"Lots of folks are really fired up that it's coming back," said WTB's Dain Zaffke. "These saddles have a huge following."
