BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Rapha on Wednesday announced a $1.5 million foundation that will support cycling development programs. Simon Mottram, the founder and CEO of the British brand, said neither the foundation or the company's recently published Rapha Roadmap are intended to drive sales of Rapha product.

BENTONVILLE, Ark. (BRAIN) — HIA Velo, LLC, the parent of Allied Cycle Works, laid off about 15 workers this month as managers adjusted staff levels to demand for its U.S.-made carbon bikes. The workers let go were from a variety of departments but mostly from production.
