(BRAIN) — Electric trike brand Mooncool released a folding model that it says is specifically designed for riders 50 and over. The TK1 Folding Electric Trike has various features that make it safer and more practical for those riders seeking mobility options, the brand said.
The TK1 has a rear differential mechanism for stability during turns and a parking brake. It also features a step-thru frame and an adjustable handlebar to accommodate rider heights from 5 foot to 6-foot-3.
With a 48-volt 500-watt motor and 14.5Ah lithium-ion battery, the TK1 has a range of 35-70 miles. It is spec'd with front and rear baskets, turn signals, and horn.
Mooncool has a retailer network and also direct-to-consumer option. The TK 1 retails for $1,599.99.
