PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Showers Pass introduced what it's calling its most eco-friendly cycling jacket, the EcoLyte Elite. The jacket features 100% recycled polyester fabrics and vent and pocket zippers.
The polypropylene waterproof-breathable membrane uses low-temperature production and solvent-free lamination, further reducing the environmental impact of the manufacturing process, according to Showers Pass.
The EcoLyte Elite also features a full-zip front, chest pocket, core vents for temperature regulation, and a removable/adjustable brimmed hood that is helmet compatible. It also has reflective accents and a back pocket holds that can stow the 13.7-ounce jacket when not in use.
It's available in men's and women's sizes and retails for $299.
