SAN MARCOS, Calif. (BRAIN) — Spinergy's new MTX wheelset line encompasss various mountain bike disciplines, including e-bike.
Using its patented PBO spoke technology, purpose-built carbon fiber rims, and new 44 series hub technology, Spinergy has three new wheelsets.
The MTX 24 ($1,299) is 29er only designed for lightweight XC/trail riders, with 28 standard PBO spokes, 24mm internal rim width, and a 1,622 gram wheelset weight.
The MTX 30 ($1,399) is designed for XC/trail/all-mountain applications and available in 29 and 27.5 sizes. It also features 28 standard PBO spokes, 30mm internal rim width, and weighs 1,690 grams (29) and 1,620 grams (27.5).
The MTXe ($1,599) is for e-bike/enduro/freeride use and comes in 29 and 27.5 sizes. It features 24 PBO MOTO spokes, which feature a larger diameter of bundled PBO fibers. The wheelset also is built on a proprietary foam core carbon fiber rim.
