SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (BRAIN) — Küat's Piston Pro X hitch-mounted rack features integrated LED tail lights and pneumatic tire arms with Kashima coating.
The tire chocks can slide with one hand to fit wheel sizes 18-29 inches, tires as wide as 5 inches, and wheelbases up to 53 inches without adaptors or tools. The Piston Pro X can hold bikes up to 67 pounds per tray.
The pneumatic tire arms release with OneTap technology and ratchet down without frame contact. IGUS bushings are used on key pivots, and the hitch frame is Tiger Powder coated, and the hardware is constructed from stainless steel. A 12mm semi-integrated rubber cable lock also is included.
The magnetic quick-connect plug cable allows vehicle tail lights to be duplicated with braking and turn signals. The rack can be fitted with a one or two-bike add-on, expanding carrying capacity.
Küat offers an optional e-bike ramp for loading and unloading and tiered trays that add ground clearance and options.
The Piston Pro X will be available in spring 2022 at select nationwide retailers for an MSRP of $1,389. Several paired down models will be released in fall 2022 starting at $989.
