SAN DIEGO (BRAIN) — New for 2015, BMC's teammachine SLR03 uses the same ACE Technology software as the Pro Tour-level SLR01 to achieve the most optimal values in terms of stiffness and weight without sacrificing comfort and responsiveness, while keeping a lower price level in mind by using a more economical carbon layup.
The company said each SLR03 frame size offers proportional stiffness, increasing or decreasing accordingly allowing a 47cm to ride and perform with the same characteristics as a 60cm.
The 47cm SLR03 is the smallest BMC made, with a seat tube length of 442mm and stack of 506mm, allowing even the smallest riders to ride BMC. Three builds are available: BMC teammachine SLR03 Sora for $1,699, SLR03 Tiagra for $1,999, and SLR03 105 for MSRP $2,299.
