SALT LAKE CITY, UT (BRAIN) — Showers Pass introduced its new line of wet weather cycling gloves at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market here this week.
The Crosspoint line combines a merino wool liner with an OutDry waterproof membrane. The line includes four models with varying features depending on the conditions. All are designed specifically for cycling.
The OutDry membrane is bonded and directly laminated to the external glove’s shell. Because of this there is no gap between the outer hardshell and inner membrane in which water can become trapped, stagnate and cause unpleasant cold sensations for the wearer.
"Our customers have been asking us for years to make gloves that work as well as our jackets,” said Showers Pass president Kyle Ranson. “We held off until we were confident, our gloves would be the best in the industry. We are thrilled to partner with OutDry in the development of our new Crosspoint glove line for men and women.”
The line will be available in August in Men’s sizes SM-XXL and Women’s Sizes XS-XL.
The four models:
