FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — SRAM's RockShox brand will offer two models of suspension fork in the fast-growing 650b size, starting in December.
RockShox will offer the SID and the Reba in the new size, which is also referred to as 27.5-inch.
The company said the forks are optimized for the size with a specific crown offset and clearance and dedicated lower legs.
The SID is the company's top of the line cross-country racing fork. The 650B version will have a 15mm Maxle Light option and will be available with a tapered steered. There are four models: RL and RLT (with PushLoc remote option), XX with the hydraulic XLoc remote, and the three-position RCT3.
The Reba 27.5 will be available with 120mm travel in two damping models, RL and RLT, with
optional cable-actuated PushLoc lock-out remote.
Shipment will begin in December 2012 with suggested retail price from $820-$888(653-707 euro) for the SID and $673 (536 euros) for the Reba.
