JüLICH, Germany-SRM is introducing a new power meter that works with 2x10 mountain bike drivetrains, including those with Rotor Q-Rings.
The SRM PowerMeter-Rotor 3D+ 2x10 model uses the same power meter chassis as the rest of SRM's mountain bike product line. Power and cadence data is transmitted via ANT+Sport protocol and received with either SRM PowerControl 7 head unit or other ANT+Sport-compatible devices. The powermeters has 950 hours of battery life and have an accuracy rating of less than 1.5 percent.
The product is available now and can be ordered for 2,700 euros ($3,380) plus VAT including the PowerControl 7 headunit and accessories. The crank alone sells for 2,150 euros ($2,690).
