Eurobike decides on a 3-day event for 2018

Published November 30, 2016

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — Organizers of the Eurobike show have decided the 2018 event — which will its first in the new time frame of early July — will be a three-day event, with no consumer day.

The 2018 event will be Sunday, July 8, through Tuesday, July 10.

The 2017 Eurobike will be held at its more traditional dates, Aug. 30-Sept. 2. The final day of next year's event will be open to consumers.

Eurobike announced the new July time frame last month and then surveyed exhibitors on the length of the show

Eurobike head Stefan Reisinger said, "The industry very clearly voted in favor of three event days. This is certainly due to the current economic situation and the challenging 2016 season that many industry players faced.

"A three-day event is more cost-effective and, although this means cutbacks for us as organizers, we will naturally support this decision."
