TAICHUNG, Taiwan (BRAIN) — Vision has opened a new carbon wheel factory in Taichung that the aero component maker expects to double its production capacity while also improving quality.
"We believe the Vision mission of pursuing cutting-edge design and performance is of little importance if those designs are not made with the best raw materials in a state-of-the-art facility with uncompromising quality control," the company stated in a release. "For these reasons we recently opened our new four-story Vision factory. Three of the stories are dedicated to wheel production and assembly and one story for storage. We control every phase of the wheel production process, starting from the hub, the rims and straight to wheel final assembly."
The factory is equipped with Holland Mechanics machines for lacing, tensioning and truing.
"The use of these new semi-automatic machines mixed with the expertise from our mechanics and engineers guarantees the best possible assembly of our Vision wheels," Vision stated.
