FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — Eurobike organizers say they are expecting more exhibitors to participate in this year's Demo Day, which will be held for the first time at the expo grounds in Friedrichshafen, rather than at its traditional location a few miles away in Argenbühl, Germany.
The Demo Day is Tuesday, Aug. 26. The trade show will be open Aug. 27-29, and the show opens to the public on Saturday, Aug. 30.
"At present, more than 140 companies (189 brands) have registered for the test ride day, and the area reserved for this special exhibition has increased by more than 10 percent," said Eurobike project manager Dirk Heidrich.
Heidrich said exhibitors are finding the location more convenient.
Organizers are mapping out designated test areas for road and mountain bikes at the expo area. The northern access road to the grounds will be closed to cars on Demo Day. A variety of routes will lead up through the adjacent forest to a platform with views of Lake Constance and the Alps.
