BRNO, Czech Republic (BRAIN) — Aspire Sports is expanding Cannondale and GT Bicycles distribution to the Baltics and the Balkans, while also distributing GT only in Austria.
Aspire Sports first took over the brands' distribution in 2001, servicing retailers across Eastern Europe, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It expanded into Poland in 2013 and Hungary in 2018.
"We support more than 3,000 retail partners across Europe and across all segments — brick and mortar, online, sporting goods, and wholesale," said Marek Doležal, Aspire Sports cycling sales director. "We are confident that our expertise within the region, our omnichannel knowledge, and our experience with the brands in combination with our distribution capacity will make this an exciting chapter in our relationship."
Established more than 25 years ago, Aspire Sports also distributes other bike and component brands, including Mongoose, Schwinn, Zipp, SRAM, RockShox, and Maxxis.
