WESTPORT, Conn. (BRAIN) — Compass Diversified, the parent of BOA Technologies and Lizard Skins, among other brands, is reporting record fourth quarter and annual sales figures. The company's Q4 sales were $536.6 million and full-year 2021 revenues were $1.842 billion. Net income was $25.9 million for the fourth quarter and $126.8 million for the full year.

BOA, the maker of dial-type lacing systems used on bike shoes, helmets, saddlebags and other sports products, had sales of $14.1 million in the fourth quarter, up from $8.8 million in the same quarter last year.

Compass bought BOA in 2020. Compass's Marucci Sports division, which Compass also acquired in 2020, bought the handlebar tape and grip brand Lizard Skins in October 2021

Marucci Sports, a baseball and softball brand, did not split out Lizard Skins' contribution to its revenues for the fourth quarter.

In the consumer brand space, Compass also owns 5.11, a tactical gear brand; Ergobaby, a baby carrier brand; Lugano, a diamonds and jewelry company; and Velocity Outdoor, which encompasses several brands related to crossbow sports. Compass's total revenues from the consumer product brands was $1.2 billion last year. Its other division, Niche Industrial, had total sales of $695 million for the year.

Compass previously owned Fox Factory, which it spun off in an IPO in 2013. It also owned CamelBak, which it sold to Vista Outdoor in 2015. Compass had planned an IPO for 5.11 early this year but has postponed those plans indefinitely because of market conditions.

Compass is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the CODI symbol
