BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Mark Satkiewicz has long been a part of the outdoor and cycling community, most notably as the former CEO of Smartwool. Last month he made news again as co-founder of SBT GRVL, a new gravel event in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
What started out as a pipe dream of Satkiewicz and his fellow co-founders — retired pro racers Amy Parity and Kn Benesh — turned into a successful cycling event launch. This week he joins Kristin Carpenter on the Channel Mastery podcast to break down what made this event successful and how accessibility, parity, and community were instrumental.
