COTATI, Calif. (BRAIN) — Yuba Bicycles has hired Jeff Wuerthele as sales representative for the Eastern U.S., effective immediately. Wuerthele will be responsible for developing dealer relations and consumer demand for the cargo bike maker throughout the region.
Wuerthele brings a 20-year background in the cycling industry to the Yuba team. Most recently, he worked in advertising and events sales for Bicycle Times and Dirt Rag magazine. Prior to that, he represented Kona, Fox Racing and Diamondback.
“Jeff brings a ton of positive energy and proven bicycle sales experience,” Yuba founder and owner Ben Sarrazin said, “He lives the ‘Yuba Lifestyle’ in his hometown of Pittsburgh, where he gets around mostly by bike. We are pleased to have Jeff join the team representing Yuba in markets east of the Mississippi.”
Wuerthele said, “The timing is perfect. I am thrilled to represent Yuba Bikes and contribute to this emerging bicycle and lifestyle category.”
