Editor's note: On Monday morning, BRAIN mistakenly posted an old announcement about a personnel change at Donnelly Sports. That article has been removed. We apologize for the confusion.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) - Donnelly Sports LLC who uses the Clement trademark under license, has added two new members to its team.

Industry veteran and former professional cyclist Chris McGovern joins Donnelly as OEM sales manager and product specialist. With a background rich in racing and experience designing, developing and managing his own wheel (Real Wheels) and frame building businesses (McGovern Cycles), McGovern brings a diversity of product management knowledge to Donnelly.

McGovern was a member of the design and testing team for Donnelly's new Clement USHAIA wheel series long before his hire. He is the founder of the Lost and Found Ride, an epic northern California gravel ride that is now part of a three-race series - the Lost Sierra Triple Crown - that includes the Downieville Classic and the Grinduro. He will be based in Nevada City, California and can be reached at chris@donnellysports.com.

Donn Kellogg, president of Donnelly Sports said, "The combination of Chris's racing and business experience blends perfectly with our processes where product ideas and development come from the field. Racing and riding at a high level provides a unique understanding of product that can be gleaned only through spending that much time on the bike. And as both a frame builder and wheel brand builder he brings critical understanding of frame, component and tire tolerances that bicycle product managers demand."

McGovern replaces outgoing OEM and product development manager Johs Huseby. "Johs departs on the best of terms," Kellogg said. "We're thankful for his help in building the Clement brand and wish him the best in his next endeavor."

Joining Donnelly Sports Taiwan-based group - Donnelly Taiwan - is Abby Yin who takes on a newly created position as Technical Sales Manager. Yin will oversee all of Donnelly Taiwan operations, including OEM and aftermarket business, and will serve as Donnelly's factory liaison for production timeline and production development. Yin joins Donnelly Sports after having spent the last five years as an account manager with Fritz Jou, one of the leading assembly facilities in the bike industry. Yin can be reached at abby@donnellysports.com.
