"Maternity Leave" is a new novel by Florida cyclist, lawyer and bike importer Trish Felice Cohen. The novel's protagonist is a lawyer who fakes a pregnancy in order to take leave from her job and race her bike.

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Giant USA's general manager, Elysa Walk, is a new member of the Outdoor Industries Women's Coalition Board of Directors, the OIWC announced Wednesday.

Walk joins the board for a two-year term along with Audrey Hicks, the CFO of Outdoor Research.

NEWBURY PARK, CA (BRAIN) — Giant Bicycle employees and dealers are mourning the death of Fred Teeman, who died March 9 of cancer at age 67. Teeman worked for Giant for 19 years before retiring in 2007. Prior to joining Giant he worked for Schwinn.
