9th October 2024 – Hastings, UK: Nikki Hawyes, Whyte's CEO, today announces that long-serving and well-respected team member, Ross Patterson, will be stepping down from the business at the end of October.
Ross has dedicated 36 years – most of his professional career – to Whyte and its former entity, ATB Sales. He's one of several dedicated team members who have been the driving force behind the British brand's success and growth from its birth through to the now.
"I want to pay tribute to the exceptional service that Ross has given Whyte bikes over his 36 years with the business," said Hawyes. "Although his dedication and passion for the success of the Whyte brand will be missed, he'll always be a part of the Whyte family."
“I will be leaving my role as International Sales Director with Whyte at the end of October and making a big change to my work-life balance,” explained Patterson of his decision. “After 36 full-on years it’s time to step back and refocus - take some time off, and head for the hills on my new ELyte. I am convinced the brand is now on the right path and once the current market conditions improve will go from strength to strength. I will be remaining a part of the extended Whyte family, cheering on from the sidelines and stand ready to assist if required.”
On 31st October, Patterson will be handing the International Sales Director baton to his colleague Michelle Lee who will continue his exceptional work in unlocking the brand’s international potential.
