August 30, 2024 – Irvine, CA – The National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) is excited to announce the return of its highly anticipated P2 Workshops at the 2025 CABDA East and Midwest shows. These workshops, now in their third year in collaboration with CABDA, offer an invaluable opportunity for retailers to enhance their business strategies and connect with industry peers.

P2 Workshops: A Proven Path to Profitability

The NBDA P2 (Profitability Project) program is designed to empower bicycle retailers with the tools and insights they need to drive their businesses forward. By focusing on best practices, peer-to-peer learning, and industry trends, P2 Workshops offer a unique environment for retailers to explore new ideas, overcome challenges, and take actionable steps towards a more profitable future.

NBDA President Heather Mason highlighted the significance of these workshops: "Our P2 Workshops have become a cornerstone of the CABDA experience, growing in size and impact each year. Retailers who attend not only gain insights that directly improve their bottom line but also build lasting relationships that continue to support them long after the event."

The Value of CABDA Shows:
The CABDA Expos are essential events for bicycle retailers. With a blend of educational seminars, vendor showcases, and networking opportunities, CABDA is where retailers can step out of their day-to-day operations and focus on the bigger picture. Show Director Jim Kersten emphasized, "CABDA is the perfect time for retailers to step away from the shop, recharge, and learn firsthand from vendors and peers. It's an investment in their business that pays dividends throughout the year."

Retailer Success Stories:
Retailers who attended previous P2 Workshops have seen remarkable results. Ryan Adams of Dirty River Bicycle Works, who participated in the 2023 Midwest P2 Workshop, shared, "I added thousands of dollars to my business operations due to what I learned in just two days. The insights were practical and immediately applicable."

Marc Cianfrone, owner of Pop's Bike Shop in New Jersey, echoed these sentiments after attending the East 2023 Workshop: "My team and I learned so much. The experience was invaluable, and we'll be back year after year."

Why Suppliers Should Attend:
Suppliers are also encouraged to participate in the P2 Workshops. This is a rare chance to learn directly from retailers, understand their challenges, and forge stronger relationships. The insights gained can lead to more effective partnerships and better alignment with retailers' needs.
