Rubber Kinetics is pleased to announce the appointment of Bastien Donzé in the role of Product Director for Goodyear Bicycle Tires. In this role, Donzé will be charged with the development of not only new products, but also the long-term planning that will best utilize the new, state of the art dedicated bicycle tire production facility and development center located in Nantou, Taiwan.
Donzé brings along an extensive knowledge of the global bicycle industry and in particular the tire and wheel categories. He first started with Mavic in 2000 based in France as a Product Manager; helping the company establish the first UST Tubeless wheels for MTB. Joining SRAM in 2008, and later relocating to the United States, Donzé continued his development most recently serving as Product Manager – Global Wheels.
Beyond his work with the Zipp product line since 2016 which saw the introduction of innovative products such as the new 303 wheels for road and 3Zero Moto for MTB, Donzé was also involved in the management of the tire line for both Mavic and Zipp along with serving as a Zipp representative to the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO).

Donzé joins effective September 5th and will also attend Taichung Bike Week during early October in Taichung, Taiwan.
