Marin Poised for Further Growth with Addition of Sales Superstars
Petaluma, Calif, June 29, 2023 - Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. is pleased to announce that industry veterans Mike Miranda and Keith Ketterer have joined Marin Bikes’ US sales team as Territory Manager and Inside Sales Representative respectively.
Mike has worked in the bicycle industry since the conclusion of his career as a legendary BMX racer, which landed him in the ABA BMX Hall of Fame. He’s had multiple positions in marketing, product development and sales at some of the industry’s largest companies, along with a role in the 80s cult classic film “Rad.” Mike is covering the Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and the El Paso TX areas as Territory Manager, and says “I’m thrilled to join the Marin Bikes family because it really feels like a close-knit group that genuinely cares about its family of IBD customers.”
Keith has had a storied career, spending the previous 22 years as an Inside Sales Rep at Giant Bicycles. Prior to that, he was Team Manager at Diamondback Racing, where he worked with storied riders and their Olympic pursuits. Keith is also a World and National Champion racer on the track, setting two UCI World Records. He is thrilled about the role at Marin and says “As a kid, epic adventures with friends on our bike are what shaped my core values and propelled me into the cycling industry. Marin embodies those same values: authenticity, adventure, passion, and the joy of cycling. This role represents a refreshing new adventure, and I am eager to contribute all my skills and life experiences to this iconic, homegrown brand.”
“We feel very fortunate to be able to attract such experienced talent to join Marin as we continue to carefully enhance our IBD business,” says John Georger, Marin’s Vice President of Sales. “I have worked with both Mike and Keith in the past and know that they will bring a variety of important skills to our growing company.”
Both are already active in their new roles. Mike can be reached at Mike.Miranda@marinbikes.com or 562-489-6025, while Keith is at Keith.Ketterer@marinbikes.com or 415-506-4814.
