New riders focus of unique collaboration between Decathlon & Schwinn

MADISON, Wis. (February 23, 2022) – Schwinn, a brand of Pacific Cycle, Inc., and Decathlon, the world's largest sporting goods retailer, announce a new partnership designed to introduce the next generation to the joys and fun of bike riding.

The unique collaboration between two industry leaders will allow Schwinn bikes to be sold at select Decathlon stores throughout the United Kingdom. The bespoke line of Schwinn/Decathlon bikes are exclusively designed with young riders and Decathlon's customers in mind.

The exclusive Schwinn/Decathlon collection includes 11 bikes across several key categories. Highlights include:

• 20-inch aluminum kid's bikes --Twister and Mist
• 20-inch aluminum hardtail mountain bikes -- Thrasher and Cimarron
• 20 and 24-inch hybrids -- Episode and Campus
• 24-inch mountain bike -- Breaker Boys and Girls
• 700c Schwinn Gravel bike with added features for bikepacking - Scree

These bikes deliver the same great ride experience and Schwinn quality that riders around the globe have come to expect. The unique colours and graphics created exclusively for Decathlon speak directly to new consumers who are just starting to discover the pleasures of bike riding. The joint venture will be supported by vibrant in-store merchandising and marketing collateral that highlight the special bike lineup.

With more than 1,500 stores in 49 countries, Decathlon has an established track record of providing sporting goods to all levels of enthusiasts. The Schwinn collab adds additional depth to Decathlon's youth bike lineup.

Customers will be able to buy selected bikes from the collection starting today, with the complete range available in most Decathlon stores and online in the coming months.
