Italian Bicycle Group N.A. (IBGNA) Announces Distribution of REVOLOOP HighPerformance Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) Bicycle Inner Tubes in United States, Launch of Brand Website
CASTLE PINES, CO (November 20, 2020) Italian Bicycle Group N.A., a distributor of namely Italian cycling products in Canada, Mexico and theUSA, announces today the distribution of REVOLOOPR high performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) bicycle inner tubes in the United States, and launch of a brand website at www.tpuinner.tube.
"We are excited to announce the distribution of Revoloop high performance bicycle inner tubes in the United States," IBGNA spokesperson Antonio Urillosays. "Revoloop are the world's fastest thermoplastic polyurethane innertubes, and we are excited to introduce the brand to the growing TPU innertube market in the US.
"The primary advantages of inner tubes made with TPU over butyl rubber or latex tubes are: abrasion and wear resistance; air retention; elasticity; handling; light weight (e.g., 67% lighter than butyl rubber); performance(e.g., 19% faster than butyl rubber); and, puncture resistance (e.g., 2xstronger than butyl rubber).
The range of REVOLOOPR thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) inner tubes distributed by Italian Bicycle Group is extensive, and includes specially designed tubes for Cyclocross, Fat Tire, Gravel, MTB (Mountain Bike), Randonneur, Touring, Triathlon and Road cycling disciplines.
In addition to being the world's fastest TPU inner tube, the main differentiating points of REVOLOOP compared to Schwalbe R AerothanT or TubolitoR include: 100% recyclable, disc brake applications, lighter weight, patented flat weld seaming technology, removable valve core, and valve extension compatibility.
The REVOLOOP inner tube and valve stem are made in-house by Aachen, Germany-based TPU Plus GmbH, parent company of the REVOLOOP brand. Headed by Founder and CEO Patrick Mattfeld Dr.-Ing, TPU Plus is comprised of an interdisciplinary team with expertise in the fields of material science, mechanical engineering, plastics processing, product design and toolmaking.
"While Revoloop and Tubolito came to market in Europe around the same time(2016), Tubolito (and now Schwalbe) was first to market in the United States and is responsible for paving the way for inner tubes made with TPU," spokesperson Urillo says. "The goods news is that Revoloop require less power to overcome rolling resistance at 45kph compared to any TPU innertube, so we hope our catching up with Tubolito will be fast and expedient."

Italian Bicycle Group N.A. encourages retailers to sell through physical locations only, and inner tubes sold through Amazon, ebay or other discount platforms will not be eligible for IBGNA's 30-Day Limited Warranty.
IBGNA is currently establishing an authorized dealer network for REVOLOOPhigh performance inner tubes in the USA, and independent bicycle dealers (IBD's) and outdoor retailers are encouraged to make application with the Distributor.
IBGNA will also sell direct to consumers through its brand website at www.tpuinner.tube, were most all REVOLOOP products are currently available.
