Boulder Colo. (September 16, 2019) — RecoFit Compression Gear, a Boulder-based sportswear manufacturing company, is ceasing operations.

"After 11 amazing years of outfitting pro athletes and weekend warriors with quality compression products, I am closing up shop to focus on my career as a real estate agent here in Boulder at Live West Realty," said owner Susan Eastman Walton. "It has been a pleasure serving such an impressive, talented and fun athletic community."

Launching the company in 2008 with a single product aimed to remedy her own shin splints, Eastman Walton designed calf compression sleeves for performance and recovery purposes and asked local athletes and coaches to test them in their various specialties – including running, triathlon, cycling, skiing and soccer. Their valuable input was used to further refine the designs, which later included shin-splint therapy sleeves, full-leg compression sleeves, women's compression tights and arm-cooling sleeves. RecoFit was sold locally and nationally in retail stores and on Amazon and served as the official compression sponsor of numerous teams and organizations, most recently the U.S. Military Endurance Sports club.

Eastman Walton is liquidating inventory at greatly reduced prices at recofit.co. For more information, call 303/415-0580 or email recofit@gmail.com.
