Feb 19, 2019- Santa Fe, NM - Leading US technical products distributor Bicycle Technologies International (BTI) has tripled capacity at its Reno-Sparks distribution center. The company also signed John Eighmey to represent BTI in Washington and Oregon effective February 1st.

BTI relocated to a new, larger Reno-Sparks warehouse location last month after only 20 months of operations in the area. This move allows the company to offer most of its 20,000 products at both warehouses, meaning deeper stock levels and fewer split shipments as more products are added to the West Coast facility. The company says that the selection in Reno-Sparks will increase steadily throughout the spring.

To help dealers make the most of the one-day shipping from Reno-Sparks, BTI hired John Eighmey in the Northwest. John has been immersed in bicycle retail for more than thirty-five years, nearly 20 as an outside sales representative. Eighmey said, “I am thrilled to be joining the top-notch group at BTI as an outside sale rep in Oregon and Washington representing the excellent and vast assortment of brands and categories. BTI’s ‘can-do’ attitude and dedication to the IBD’s are clear in everything they do.” John joins BTI’s outside reps Herb Hart in the east and Dennis Burg in the upper mid-west.

“Thanks to strong support from West Coast shops, BTI is able to bring its full portfolio to Reno-Sparks this year,” said Preston Martin, President of BTI. “Combine overnight shipping with John in the Northwest and shops there have a potent new resource.”
