MONTREAL, Quebec (BRAIN)—It's a good time to be in the bike industry and the Bicycle Trade Association of Canada's Data Capture program, which tracks bikes sales in Canada, has the numbers to back that up. Canadian suppliers sold nearly 200,000 units to retailers in the first six months of 2009.
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, GERMANY (BRAIN)—Eurobike is again revamping its trade show dates for 2010. Eurobike’s Demo Day is Tuesday, Aug. 31, with the show running from Sept. 1 through Sept. 4.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN)—Eurobike ended on Saturday with 39,152 trade visitors, a six percent increase; with 21,000 paying bicycle fans on the one Open House Day.
