BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — Rather than one Global Fat Bike Summit as in the past, QBP will host four regional summits next year. The summits are meetings to discuss trail access and other issues affecting the growing activity of bike riding on snow. QBP has hosted four previous annual Global events.

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — CABDA will open attendee registration for its 2016 trade show on Monday, Nov. 2. The CABDA Expo will take place Feb. 3-4 at the Pheasant Run Resort and Convention Center outside of Chicago.

LANCASTER, Pa. (BRAIN) — QBP welcomed retailers and suppliers to its first-ever Biketoberfest event this week. Some 175 retailers and about 30 brands convened in Lancaster, located an hour and a half west of Philadelphia.

CHICAGO (BRAIN) — The Chicagoland Area Bicycle Dealers' Association is moving its 2016 trade show to the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois, the site of several CABDA shows in the 1990s. The new space is twice the size of CABDA's 2015 venue, and is already 60 percent sold out, organizers said.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — Pro trials rider Jeff Lenosky will perform at the Eastern Outdoor Reps Association trade show in Killington, Vt., planned for Aug. 24-26.

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Felt Bicycles announced Tuesday that it will end traditional new model year introductions after its 2016 line and revert to what it calls “The Living Line.” Michael Forte, Felt’s general manager, said that traditional model years will cease at Felt and that decision could lead to its exit from Eurobike and Interbike this year.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Interbike has announced the addition of a two-day Fit Symposium to September’s expo lineup. The symposium will take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center during Interbike on Tuesday, Sept. 15, from 1-5 p.m., and repeated on Friday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., with four-hour sessions each day.
