CHICAGO (BRAIN) — SRAM on Thursday unveiled its new XO DH hubs, which will be available in rear axle configurations of 12x150 and 12x157, and 20x110 on the front.
The hubs feature a 52-point ratchet Double Time freehub design for quick engagement, along with a tapered aluminum axle and SRAM’s pre-adjusted Speedball machined bearings.
The axles can be switched to deferent configurations with removable endcaps. The hubs are available in 32-hole with Seeker hub flanges that are angled toward to the rim for reduced spoke stress. The hubs are glossy black with silver accents, or sand-blasted black with red labels. They are available with XD or 10-speed cassette bodies.
Weight is 130 grams for the front and 265 grams rear.
Rear hubs will retail for $375 (XD driver) or $380 (9/10-speed cassette). Front hubs are $197. They will be available Aug. 1
