Fresh off a day of skiing at Mammoth, Wick from Pro Net/Kore stopped by yesterday, bringing with him some Limar helmets. It's only been since last spring that Pro Net entered into an agreement with Limar, acting as the Italian company's "sales agent." Besides Sinclair, which has been distributing Limar for the last couple of years, Wick has managed to bring on KHS and Hawley.
"The beauty of this brand is that it has two sizes," Wick said. No matter how big or small your head is the Pro System 2 fitting system will adjust, with an easy twist of a knob. What this means for retailers is less SKUs, but without sacrificing sizing options for customers. The helmets Wick brought in were light, comfortable and affordable, between $99-$155.
Wick is looking for drinking partners at the Handmade Show in Indy.
