BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Slovenia-based Unior Tools has launched a new U.S. website, uniorusa.com.
The new portal offers consumers and IBDs the convenience of ordering directly from Unior's official U.S. site. "Unior is very serious about establishing itself in the U.S. market and this is just another step in the right direction for us," said Bruce Fina, Unior's North American director of sales.
Trek announced in 2015 that it was distributing Unior in the U.S.
"Trek is an incredible partner, but we realize in order to reach all our customers we need to offer shops and serious riders the ability to purchase directly," Fina said.
Unior currently offers a full array of bike tools, from multi-tools to rolling tool chests.
The company was founded in 1919 and has manufactured components and tools for leading automakers like BMW, Mercedes, VW and others. Unior controls and owns all facets of its manufacturing process, from the steel mills to the production lines. Unior's 2,500 employees craft all Unior tools in its five factories.
The company provides the official tools for the Sky Team, Trek – Segafredo, Movistar and Etixx-Quickstep teams. The company said it has plans to establish additional sponsorship programs in the U.S. and attend a number of events in 2017.
