OLNEY, Ill. (BRAIN) — Magura USA has started distributing Lake Cycling shoes in North America, from its warehouse here.
Lake Cycling shoes were previously shipped from a distribution center in Los Angeles. Under the new agreement, with shipping from Illinois, Magura will offer guaranteed three-day shipping to anywhere in the U.S.
"We're excited to work with Lake and we want to make the transition as seamless as possible for Lake customers," said Jeff Enlow, the president of Magura USA. Magura and Lake will be offering expedited shipping during the stock transition.
Lake Cycling Inc., is a U.S. subsidiary of Lake Cycling Intl. Based in San Diego, Lake Cycling focuses on growth and development of sales and marketing for the North and South American markets. "This partnership is a good opportunity to grow the Lake brand in North America. Magura's good track record of dealer support and distribution gives Lake the right platform to grow," said Brett Lindstrom of Lake Cycling Inc. "There are plans to increase our presence at consumer-facing events now that we have doubled our efforts with Magura."
Lake Cycling was founded in Evanston, Illinois, in 1982.
"Our pride has grown out of a simple fact, that we are first to market with many if not most new developments in cycling shoes. Unlike most companies in the marketplace, we haven't been distracted by entering into different cycling product categories. We have remained true to our core value and that is to produce the best fitting, highest quality cycling shoe on the market," said Bob Maas, the CEO of Lake Cycling International.
