DERBY, Vt. (BRAIN) — Garneau has hired the Moxie Northwest Sales Agency to represent the brand in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
The Moxie Northwest Sales Agency is comprised of Laura Moen and Justin Hamborsky and represents other brands in the cycling industry including Clif Bar, Lezyne, Kali, Osprey, and Vittoria North America.
"With the launch of a truly amazing Summer 2016 collection, we are truly proud to bring onboard Moxie Northwest to round out our group of outstanding sales representation throughout the United States and continue the customer service that Garneau is known for among independent bike dealers," said Garneau's U.S. sales director, David Cathcart.
Garneau said its revamped collection is the first step in its continued commitment to all categories including apparel, helmets, shoes, and custom. The 2016 shoe collection includes 16 new styles; the 2016 helmet collection is also a completely updated line and includes two new styles featuring MIPS technology.
On the apparel side, Garneau has focused on technology specific to each segment. The road collection features styles tagged RTR (Reclaim the Road), a selection developed to integrate specific color fabrics, next-level reflectivity, and strategic glow-in-the-dark treatments with a goal of creating coexistence between bikes and cars and a mission to ride brighter and safer.
The high-end road and triathlon collection will feature styles designed in collaboration with Alphamantis Aero Technology.
