COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (BRAIN) — Search and rescue teams have found a Colorado Springs mountain biker who was reported missing late Sunday.

Alicia Jakomait, 36, left for a ride Sunday and did not return when expected, according to The (Colorado Springs) Gazette. Her husband, SRAM engineer Jesse Jakomait, reported her missing to police at 11 pm Sunday. Searchers were able to use cell phone records to approximate her location as of late Sunday.  The Gazette reported Monday evening that searchers had found Jakomait and were evaluating her physical condition.

Alicia Jakomait, originally from Michigan, is a pro downhill racer who finished 12th in the pro category at the 2008 USA Cycling national championships.

"She is an accomplished competitive rider, but we need to find her," Jesse Jakomait told The Gazette earlier Monday.
