SEATTLE, WA; HAILFINGEN, Germany (BRAIN)—LeMond Fitness has appointed Raymond Calvert to the role of vice president and chief financial officer.
Calvert had been acting as interim CFO for the past few months at LeMond Fitness. He brings more than 20 years of business and finance experience, previously leading companies in the medical technology, consumer products and life science industries.
“As we continue to develop new and innovative products, we will look to Ray’s experience to bring strategic growth to the company,” said Greg LeMond, company founder and renown racer in a press release. “His expertise with consumer products brands and engineering organizations aligns with LeMond Fitness’ goal to design, develop and distribute the best-performing fitness tools and devices in the indoor and stationary cycling and cycle training market.”
In other news, Germany’s Lightweight has added two new members to its sales staff. Gregor Rüschoff will handle dealer relationships in middle and northern Germany. Gabriele Reutter has joined the sales force at the wheel company’s headquarters in Hailfingen near Stuttgart. She will support the sales team specifically with order processing and after-sales service.

After implementing our new exclusive Lightweight Competence Center concept in France and Great Britain, we will adapt this system now to our home market. By doing so we concentrate on a mix of personal presence at the dealers and an intensive and powerful support by our in-house sales crew,” said Jörg Ludewig, Lightweight’s head of sales.
