COSTA MESA, CA (BRAIN)—The NBDA is going to launch a series of Webinars as an extension of the Interbike Super Seminars and Regional Super Seminars that it has hosted each year in cities throughout the country.
“This will allow us to address more topics and reach out to a larger base of retailers, and at the same time make it easier for retailers to participate,” said Michael Baker, marketing and communications director for the National Bicycle Dealers Association. “The final format and schedule for these events is still in progress, but will be announced after Interbike.”
Confirmed speakers from the NBDA’s Super Seminars include Dan Mann, Jay Townley, Tom Shay and other retail and business experts. Dealers are encouraged to submit requests for seminar topics directly to the NBDA at Interbike, Booth L25. Webinars will be free to all NBDA members, but will be available to members only.
The NBDA also has announced that it’s once again making available 25 scholarships to dealer members worth up to $1,000 each to first-time attendees to the National Bike Summit in Washington, D.C., March 8-10, 2011. Retailers can find more details, rules and the application by clicking on above link.
