BERKELEY, CA (BRAIN)—Clif Bar & Company has hired two new sales agencies to its sales rep force. The Mid-Atlantic Territory will be covered by DS Specialty Sports, LTD and the New England Territory will be covered by Stoner-Andrews.
“DS Specialty Sports and Stoner-Andrews both have extensive experience and success in the outdoor industry. Their reach and their expertise will provide better service to our diverse network of retailers in the run, bike and outdoor channels. We are thrilled to have them onboard as we head into 2010,” said Mike Valvano, Clif Bar & Company’s national sales manager for sports retail.
Headed by Dan Sims and with team member, Kate Gaffney, DS Specialty Sports, LTD has been in business since 1991. Based in Katonah, New York, DS Specialty Sports covers Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia and Washington D.C.
Established in 1987, Stoner-Andrews has over 25 years of experience in New England’s outdoor industry. Long time business partners and friends, Stoner-Andrews is headed by Rick Stoner and Scott Andrews. Additional members of the team include Scott Byrne, Scott Finlayson, Allison Frazier and Ty Wivell. Stoner-Andrews is based in Selburne, Vermont and covers the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
