LAGUNA HILLS, CA (BRAIN)—A new distribution company called Unique Sports Company located in southern Oregon has launched.
Unique Sports Company will be the exclusive North American distributor of Orange Mountain Bikes and Grammo Elite Bicycles & Components, and will work to further develop distribution channels for these premium brands. In addition, Unique Sports Company will offer products from Shimano USA, FSA, WTB, Soma and Interloc Racing Design, among others.
"Unique Sports Company is the new wholesale arm of an importer through whom UBP was sourcing some of their products," said Dylan Robbins, sales manager for Unique Sports Company. "They initially wanted to deepen the relationship and collaborate with UBP (United Bicycle Parts), but it quickly became apparent that such a relationship with UBP would not be beneficial. With the imminent demise of UBP the parent company decided to launch a wholesale division to both fill the vacuum and provide retailers access to unique or niche products. Thus Unique Sports Company was born."
UBP recently went out of business.
