PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — Chrome Industries is now offering a knife roll, developed with renowned chef Chris Cosentino, who has restaurants near Chrome's operations in San Francisco with Cockscomb and now in Portland with Jackrabbit.

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Happi Headware is a new brand formed by 15-year-old mountain biker Alyssa Feinberg, who wanted a solution to post-ride helmet hair.

The company offers more than 20 printed designs in two models: one for summer and one for winter. 

ANAHEIM, Calif. (BRAIN) — Demolition has released several new colors for its aluminum BMX pedal, the Trooper AL. The new colors include Matte Black, Rasta, and Black Jacket.

ORLANDO, Fla. (BRAIN) — Catrike has released its new 700 model, which is nan evolution of Catrike's existing speed-focused model. The updated 700 offers a low, aerodynamic body position, lightweight frame and high-end components.

GOLDEN, Colo. (BRAIN) — Open is now offering a special edition of its New U.P. frame, painted in the trademark turquoise colors of Yeti Cycles.

Yeti Cycles' owner, Chris Conroy, and Open's co-founder, Andy Kessler, are longtime friends who worked together at Scott-Schwinn in Colorado in the 1990s.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — Cane Creek Cycling Components is now shipping its Slamset, an ultra-low stack height headset the company introduced earlier this year.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (BRAIN) — Park's newest tool is a combination corkscrew and bottle opener with a blade for removing foil. The tool, model number BO-4, features all stainless-steel mechanisms housed in a forged aluminum case.

BATH, U.K. (BRAIN) — Kask worked with designer and former pro cyclist Iris Slappendel on a new collection of apparel for women, called "Protect Your Style."

SAUSALITO, Calif. (BRAIN) — Spurcycle, best known for its small, U.S.-made bike bell, is launching a new multi-tool. The $69 tool, simply called "the Tool," is machined from Grade 5 titanium by Paragon Machine Works and includes a slim fabric case.

SAN FRANCISCO (BRAIN) — AllTrails an online guide to the outdoors used by hikers, runners and cyclists, has announced a new partnershipwith leading air quality analytics provider, BreezoMeter, to offer real-time, hyperlocal air quality data.

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — WTB is donating $15 to the American Red Cross from each sale of a limited edition saddle. The donations are meant to support vicitims of the Northern California wilfdires. 

PERTH, Australia (BRAIN) — Cycliq has made two additions to its line of integrated bike camera and light devices. The new models are smaller and lighter than previous models, and offer wireless connectivity features via ANT+ and Bluetooth.

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Schwinn, a brand of Dorel Industries, has released a limited 1,400-unit production run of its Grey Ghost Sting-Ray. The bikes will be available only at Dick's Sporting Goods stores and on the retailer's website, for $399.

The Grey Ghost was originally sold in 1971.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (BRAIN) — Ibis Cycles has introduced a new version of its long-standing cyclocross model, the Hakkalügi. The new models is called the Hakka MX and is intended as a cyclocross/gravel road bike that can be run with 700c or 27.5-inch wheels.

Distributor plans more products under the new brand.

SANTA FE, N.M. (BRAIN) — BTI is now selling inner tubes under its new house brand, Circ. The distributor said the tubes offer margins starting at 200 percent and are packaged in a color-coded system that makes it easy for shops to find the right size.

KIRKLAND, Wash. (BRAIN) — BikeFit is now shipping its Saddle Changer, an updated and much lower priced version of its previous quick-change seatpost, the SwitchIt.  The Saddle Changer is intended for bike shops, fitters, and saddle demo operators, to quickly swap saddles on bikes.
